About us
Who we are
Buki di Pret is a non-profit run by a team of dedicated volunteers. Each year, we bring this project to life; supported by extra volunteers for tasks like translation, marketing, customer service, and school distribution.
Want to help? We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers. Get in touch!
What we do
Buki di Pret is a free summer booklet packed with fun activities and deals. Not every family knows what’s out there, or can afford it. That’s why we connect with local businesses and organizations to create accessible offers.
Want to join as a partner? Organize an activity, offer a discount, and pay a small fee to help cover our costs.
We collect all activities in a colorful Buki di Pret and hand it out to 9.000 children at all 52 primary schools on Aruba, for a summer full of fun!
Our goal
To give all kids aged 6–13 a joyful summer, full of discovery and new experiences. Through fun, low-cost activities, we help them explore their talents and enjoy their vacation.
Wishing everyone a fantastic summer!

We are looking for
Customer service assistants
We are looking for volunteers who are available for at least one week during the 2026 summer vacation to respond to questions from parents and caregivers about Buki di Pret.
Buki di Pret is a free booklet filled with fun activities for primary school children during the summer vacation. Parents and caregivers sign up for activities or attend them, and we receive daily questions and comments.
We are looking for volunteers who can respond to these questions and comments via email, Messenger, and social media.
So are you at home on digital devices and social media like Facebook and Instagram? And do you enjoy helping parents and caregivers with their questions? Then we are looking for you.
Good to know:
- A team member will always be available to support you with more complex questions.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required; knowledge of Papiamento or Spanish is a strong plus.
- This role is performed remotely (from home) and in a team setting, allowing you to rotate and support each other.
- Period: July 4 – August 19, 2026
- Time commitment: checking and responding to email, Messenger, and social media 3 times per day. Depending on the number of messages, this will take up to 30 minutes per session — approximately 1.5 hours per day in total.
